A Medieval Experiment

This is kind of interesting – in France, they’re building a medieval castle, using only medieval materials and techniques. The site is called Guédelon.

Here’s the link.

Note that there is a nice video on the home page, but once it launched, I couldn’t find a close button on the video window. Once you play it (if you play it),  choose another tab from the menu bar to make it go away.

Enjoy!

  1. Deborah, I just want to say that….. I started reading your dragon books and I was hooked… you remind me of 3 of my fav authors (Sherrilyn Kenyon, Lynn Kurkand, JR Ward) I gave the 1st book to my 16 year old and then had to fight with him to hurry up so I could read the rest of your books too! LOL Lucky for me he reads fast…. 🙂 I am so looking forward to the next book…. Your a very detailed writer and I like the humor…. I will have to try some of your others, I am sure I have read some in the past… Keep those books coming and just for the record… I think poor Rafferty needs his book written… Hasn’t he waited long enough for his fire storm…. poor guy! 😦 I am rooting for the underdog…

    • Hi Shoshanna –

I’m glad to hear that you’re enjoying the books so much – and that your son is, as well. You’re the second person today to tell me that you’re reading Dragonfire with your teenager. I think that’s really neat.

And don’t worry – Rafferty’s book is next. DARKFIRE KISS will be out in May 2011 – there’s an excerpt in the back of WHISPER KISS, just to tease you!
